A video team from Shaughnessy Park School, along with Luke Scantlebury, won the grand prize in the Rise Against Homophobia Youth Short Video Contest. The judges believe the video entitled “Be the One Who Helps” demonstrates a particular brand of exceptionality.
The award was presented at the Fierce, Fabulous and Under 25 Youth Gala, that took place on August 23 as part of the Vancouver Queer Film Festival, in Vancouver BC.
