Kara & Brett – Winnipeg Engagement Photography

It was wonderful to shoot an evening engagement session with Kara and Brett. They are tying the knot on July 13 (coincidentally Mitch’s birthday). We like spending time a couple before their wedding day, as it helps them get a feel for our shooting style and get used to being the subject of a photo shoot. It also helps us learn a bit about the couple. Kara and Brett are very easy going and comfortable in front of the camera. When the engagement shoot goes this well, we know the wedding day shoot will be awesome! Click here to view all of Kara & Brett’s engagement photos.

Ghita & Daniel – Winnipeg Wedding Photography

Ghita and Daniel exchanged vows during an early morning ceremony at the St. Boniface Golf & Country Club. The ceremony was followed by a unique brunch reception that was attended by family and friends from near and far, including family from Denmark. Ghita and Daniel enjoy Lego and placed an array of pieces at each table, inviting everyone to create their own masterpiece. Ewan took his role as ring-bearer very seriously – so much so that in preparation for this task, he trained with an elite organization known only as the RPA (Ring Protection Agency). After brunch, the photo shoot moved to the Legislative Building, St. Boniface Basilica, and finally The Forks – the location where they spent their first date. After sunset, Ghita and Daniel’s families organized an amazing fireworks display at The Forks that was enjoyed by thousands of Winnipeggers. The families vow, at great personal expense, to repeat the fireworks display at The Forks every July 1st! It was a pleasure to again work together with Ghita and Daniel after our memorable engagement shoot at McNally Robinson. Ghita and Daniel are a wonderful couple and we wish them many adventures in Jamaica! Click here to view all of Ghita & Daniel’s wedding day photos.

Ashley & Chad – Winnipeg Wedding Photography

Ashley and Chad celebrated their wedding ceremony and reception at one of Manitoba’s most spectacular venues – The Gates. While Ashley and her bridesmaids prepared for the wedding in the loft above The Gates restaurant, the groom and his men pulled up in their limo. Soon, Chad caught his first glimpse of Ashley in her wedding dress as she was escorted down the aisle by her father. The wedding ceremony was unforgettable as Ashley’s grandmother officiated the event. McKayla was an adorable flower girl who was enjoyed having her portrait taken. Upon entering the ballroom at The Gates, the first thing one noticed was an incredible candy bar. It was actually more like a candy store than a candy bar with a dizzying array of choices, many of which were brands not available in Canada. Ashley’s father was responsible for stocking and decorating the candy bar – well done! The service and food at the Gates was outstanding as always. After dinner and toasts, the party roared on throughout the night. Congratulations to Ashley and Chad on a beautiful wedding day! Click here to view all of Ashley & Chad’s wedding day photos.

Jennifer & Justin – Winnipeg Wedding Photography

After spending the day with Jennifer and Justin we were impressed by how “in tune” this couple is with one another. The day began with a traditional Chinese ceremony and was followed by an Anglican ceremony in the afternoon. The Millennium Library provided an ideal backdrop for Jennifer and Justin’s photo shoot. The reception was held at the Kum Koon Garden where guests enjoyed a delicious multi-course meal and entertainment which included Lion Dancers and traditional Chinese dances. Congratulations Jennifer & Justin! Click here to view all of Jennifer and Justin’s wedding day photos.

Christine & Cory – Winnipeg Wedding Videographers

Christine and Cory chose a 5os theme for their wedding day which influenced everything from their choice of: clothing, decorations, cars and music. We particularly liked the table decorations and jukebox. Please enjoy this highlight video of Christine and Cory’s wedding which was held at the South Beach Casino.
