We started the day at Min & Adam’s home where Tia and her Provici Cosmetics team was doing hair and makeup for all the girls. The atmosphere was full of fun and excitement and included tasty Mimosas. The ceremony at St. Joseph’s Church was touching and was followed by a whirlwind photo shoot in downtown Winnipeg. The room at the Millennium Centre was transformed as it was spectacularly decorated in silver and pink. The evening included a “So You Think You Can Dance” competition, a candy bar, cupcakes from the Cupcake Corner, an outstanding meal, and Rygiel’s Fun Booth. Everyone got into the spirit of the photo booth and posed for funky and crazy photos all night long. Jen & Neal’s older sisters, Joelle and Tara, were at a Norwex party when they started talking about how their smart and attractive siblings were still single. They devised a plan that would pair their unwitting siblings together. Little did they know how well their plan would work as only 18 months later Jen and Neal were married! We shot Jen’s sister’s wedding 9 years ago and were thrilled to capture another Mackenzie wedding. Jen flower girls are the cutest girls ever complete with matching dresses, purses & shoes! On their wedding days, both Jen and Neal’s parents danced to Elvis Presley’s “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” so it was apropos that Jen and Neal follow the tradition.
