Ashley & Ryan – Winnipeg Wedding Photography

There’s something sublime about capturing the intimate moments shared between a bride and groom on their wedding day. It’s a moment in time filled with unparalleled emotion and celebration. The time allotted for the wedding day photo shoot is limited, which makes it a challenge for some to relax and just remain “in the moment.” This was not so for Ashley and Ryan, as they were easy-going, comfortable, and very much in tune with one another. Ashley and Ryan met while working together at Vita Health, a very special place in their lives. Pastor Marc Derosiers officiated the poignant ceremony in his unique manner. Ashley and Ryan, it was truly an honour to share the day with you and document your love. Special thanks to the entire wedding party for braving the elements, and looking so fabulous, on what was a particularly cold and windy day. We wish the best in your future together as an enchanting married couple. Click here to view all of Ashley & Ryan’s photos.

Natasha & Chris – Winnipeg Wedding Photography

Although summer has officially ended, this Saturday was one of the loveliest days in recent memory. On a day full of sunshine and lush blooms of cream and blue, Natasha and Chris were married at St. Ignatius Parish. Winnipeg’s mesmerizing fall colours provided a wonderful backdrop for the family and bridal party photos at the grounds of the Legislative Building. Before making their way to the reception, Natasha and Chris joined us at the Hydro Building where a series of portraits of the newlyweds in soft, romantic and ethereal light was captured. The wedding day celebration continued at the Centro Caboto Centre. Family and friends enjoyed a delicious meal before dancing the night away in the exquisitely decorated room, courtesy of the talented Rick Mayhew of Decorations by Rick.  Click here to view all of Natasha & Chris’ photos.

Amanda & Johnathan – Winnipeg Wedding Photography

Laughter is the first word that comes to mind when we think of Jonathan and Amanda. We heard from friends and family about all the ways these two give joy to others around them and make them laugh. Laughter is something this world can use more of, so thank you Jonathan and Amanda for the gift of laughter. We spent the evening with this joyous couple at the beautiful Fort Garry Hotel, renown for its ornate ceilings, gorgeous windows and beautiful wood doors. Aimee & Maximilian – Winnipeg Wedding Photography

We’re excited to share a few of Aimee and Maximilian’s Winnipeg wedding photos. After a traditional Tea Ceremony in the morning, the wedding party gathered at the Hydro Building, their first photo location of their wedding day. For a couple only a few short hours away from the most important moment of their lives, Aimee and Maximilian exuded confidence, making for a very relaxed and fun photo session. They clearly share very close relationships with their family and friends in the wedding party, who were very supportive throughout the day, and celebrated this milestone day in Aimee and Maximilian’s lives till the wee hours of Sunday morning. The highlight of the day was the equisitely beautiful ceremony at the Assiniboine Park’s Leo Mol Garden, where Aimee and Maximilian shared their nuptial vows. After a family photo shoot at the park, we made our way to the Chinese Cultural Centre to create a number of indelible images. The multiple course dinner at the Kum Koon Garden was both sumptuous and luxurious. Winnipeg wedding photographers Rygiel Photography & Video are honoured to have been chosen to document Aimee and Maximilian’s memorable wedding day. Click here to view all of Aimee & Maximilian’s photos.

Team Peterson – Winnipeg Team Photography

The roster of the incomparable Team Peterson includes the following exceptionally talented athletes: Beth Peterson (skip), Robyn Njegovan (3rd), Melissa Gordon (2nd) and Breanne Yozenko (lead). These young women, who are entering their final year as Junior Curlers, have set worthy goals for the 2014-2015 curling season. The team consists of three cousins and one good friend who has certainly become part of the family over the years. This marks the 10th season they have completed together as one dynamic team. They are currently coached by wily curling veteran Murray Peterson, who also assumes the role of Beth’s father. This team has enjoyed many successes throughout its storied career, the most notable in 2011, when they represented Manitoba in the Canada Games. These athletes are part of a curling family of sorts, as Robyn’s brother Connor is the newest member of Jeff Stoughton’s team, and their cousin Lindsey Titheridge was part of Chelsea Carey’s team at the 2013 Canadian Olympic trials. Rygiel Photography & Video is honoured to sponsor this accomplished team and wish them continued success in the 2014-2015 season. Hurry hard! Click here to view all of Team Peterson’s photos.
